Moling / Thrust Boring

The mole / thrust bore is generally used around the domestic property or on the smaller jobs where service pipes, electrical cables or ducts need to be installed.

 

We can install pipes or cables from 15mm in diameter up to 75mm in diameter with distances ranging up to 30 meters. Smaller diameter moles would be used around gardens and driveways, average distances between 8 to 10 meters without digging trenches. The only digging involved is a small launch pit usually around 300 mm x 750 mm and an exit pit of the same size.

 

Directional  Drilling

This is specialist equipment usually used for the bigger jobs, commercial site or the public highway, where mains water, electric and gas services need to be installed.

 

We can install pipes or cables from 15mm in diameter to 150mm in diameter, over distances up to 200 meters at a time. The only digging involved is a small launch pit of 1 meter x 1 meter and an exit pit the same size.
